Whybrow 1885-1904"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It appears that in keeping with most families connected to the O&#8217;Leary name, Catherine came from another rural family. \u00a0Her father is listed as a farmer and she married another farmer in John. \u00a0John was born at Young, New South Wales in 1872.<\/p>\n<p>Her short marriage was spent near <a href=\"http:\/\/g.co\/maps\/5ge64\">Wombat<\/a>, New South Wales. \u00a0Catherine died 3 days after the birth of Lily due to\u00a0complications\u00a0with the birth and the onset of\u00a0septicaemia. \u00a0\u00a0 Catherine is interred in the Wombat Cemetery (Roman Catholic Section).<\/p>\n<p>In keeping with with the suspect records of the time and the unreliability of informants (although in this case the informant was husband John) her death certificate states Catherine was born and died at Rocky Hill, Murrumburrah. \u00a0There is no current record of a rural property\u00a0or town by this name, and\u00a0considering\u00a0other\u00a0inconsistencies with the certificate Rocky Hill may exist somewhere, or may not.<\/p>\n<p>Also the certificate states &#8220;Lila M.&#8221; as being 3 days old at the time of her mothers passing in 1904. \u00a0Registry Office records have Lily M. being born in 1905. \u00a0The certificate also has an alteration by John James Meredith on 27th. March 1905 noting Lila should read &#8220;Lily&#8221;. \u00a0The only other record of Lily appears to be of death in 1971 of &#8220;Lillian May&#8221; mother Catherine Eliza, father John at Murrumburrah.<\/p>\n<p>John J.
