July 1878 aged 85. \u00a0She and David produced 3 offspring.<\/p>\n<p>George was born in 1820 and immigrated to Australia at some time as he died ay\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/g.co\/maps\/q585n\">Ballarat<\/a> in Victoria in January 1861.<\/p>\n<p>Margaret was born in 1826 and sadly passed away on 28th February 1827.<\/p>\n<p>The second Margaret was born in 1832 and lived to be 73, dying on 17th. July 1905 at <a href=\"http:\/http:\/\/g.co\/maps\/vgsrm\">Moffat<\/a>, Scotland. \u00a0At this time it was not\u00a0unusual\u00a0to name a second child for one who died, particularly if the first child died young.<\/p>\n<p>Jessie was born in 1836 and again as what was not unusual for the era, passed away aged only 2 in March 1836 at <a href=\"http:\/\/g.co\/maps\/9yxmq\">Capplegill<\/a> Scotland. \u00a0Modern references to Capplegill only refer to it as again a farm. \u00a0It could have been a village in the 1800s, although I can find no indication that this was the case.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Edgar_Headstone_001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1557\" title=\"Edgar_Headstone_001\" src=\"https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Edgar_Headstone_001-199x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Edgar_Headstone_001-199x300.jpg 199w, https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Edgar_Headstone_001.jpg 366w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 199px) 100vw, 199px\" \/><\/a>Again I&#8217;m grateful for this headstone as records like this are sometimes the only means of discovering vital information that otherwise would be lost.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Moffat_Old_Graveyard_0032.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1558\" title=\"Moffat_Old_Graveyard_003\" src=\"https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Moffat_Old_Graveyard_0032-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Moffat_Old_Graveyard_0032-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Moffat_Old_Graveyard_0032-450x300.jpg 450w, https:\/\/rjoleary.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Moffat_Old_Graveyard_0032.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Relationship to me:- Great, Great, Great, Great Uncle.
